'Kingston Sounds' by Susannah Langley

An exhibition in Kingston's outdoor lightbox gallery, displaying a series of abstract drawings created inside virtual reality. Created in response to field recordings of the sounds of places, spaces and events in the City of Kingston.

A collage of indigenous flora endemic to the region of Bunurong Land is transformed into moving image sequences, projected onto Kingston Arts' Skybridge, evoking a reimagined ‘wildlife corridor,’ a habitat crucial for the survival of the region’s endangered floristic communities.

Exhibiting a series of paintings exploring inherited items and their cultural significance through an Australian-Cambodian-Chinese lens. Paintings reference stories of second-generation migrants and people born in the 90's, through a playful tone that speaks to values of sharing, appreciation and family.

'Rendered Other and Cast Out' by Elizabeth Cole

A multi-disciplinary exhibition that reworks Antarctic and personal archival materials to warn of our uncertain future due to human-caused global warming. The five-part installation references the historic age of polar exploration, colonial-era whaling and the possible post-human consequences of inaction.

Stitch with Sappho: Community Textile Installation by Juliet D Collins

A collaborative textile and mixed media installation created with community participants; weaving together stitched fragments to reimagine Ancient Greek poet Sappho’s legacy and enduring presence through collective making.
